Cosmetics ODM/OEM Business
The cosmetics contract manufacturing (OEM) business was transferred to a new cosmetics-dedicated factory completed in Ibaraki in 2018, which is now in operation.
We began full-scale development as a cosmetics ODM/OEM business.

- Based on the database of development formulations we have cultivated for skin care, hair care, body care, etc., our experienced researchers in charge of cosmetics are capable of developing products in a wide range of categories.
- We are engaged in research that constantly considers "what is value" for customers, such as evaluating the effects and functions of our original raw material, marine collagen, on the skin, evaluating various
properties, conducting sensory evaluations under temperature and humidity environments that simulate various cosmetic usage scenarios, stability, safety, and more.

Facilities and Equipment
Value Creation Laboratory (VCL)
Equipped with research facilities such as "sensory evaluation room," "emulsification laboratory," and "cell and microorganism laboratory" to further enhance formulation and product development. We also have "Open Lab", "Communication Room", and "Exhibition Room" as communication spaces to meet your needs.
Ibaraki Plant No. 2
Also located on the premises of the Ibaraki Plant, this facility began operations in December 2018. In addition to aerosol products, we focus on the production of cosmetics (liquid-filled products) with facilities compliant with cosmetics GMP.
Company History
1951: "Tokyo Spray Laboratory" established in Toshima-ku, Tokyo. Released Japan's first aerosol product, Spray Net.
1955 The company name was changed to Tokyo Aerosol Chemical Co. Head office and factory were established in Meguro-ku, Tokyo.
1961: Head office relocated to Shibuya-ku, Tokyo. Factory relocated to Oimachi, Saitama. Kinki Aerosol Industry Co.
Ltd. established in Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.
1977 Gifu Plant established in Seki-shi, Gifu Prefecture.
1982 Head office moved to Toshima-ku, Tokyo.
1989 Formed alliance with Kinki Aerosol Industry Co.
1990 Completed a dedicated liquid filling line in Saitama Plant. In response to an increase in orders for cosmetics and quasi-drugs, a GMP-compliant plant was added to the Gifu Plant.
In 1992, Kinki Aerosol Industry Co., Ltd. moved its head office and factory to Ono City, Hyogo Prefecture.
1993 Gunma Plant was established in Isesaki City, Gunma Prefecture.
2000: Pharmaceutical formulation and production lines were expanded in the Gifu Plant.
2001 ISO 9001 certification obtained (Head Office and Gifu Plant). A.D.I. Sol, Inc. established in Omitama City, Ibaraki Prefecture. Production facilities are transferred from Kashiwa Chemical Co., Ltd. and production begins at Ibaraki Plant.
August 2003: Aerosol high-speed line was added to the Ibaraki factory.
September Facilities at the Saitama Plant were relocated and consolidated at the Ibaraki Plant.
October: Air Water Group companies Tokyo Aerosol Chemicals, A.D.I. Sol Inc. and Kinki Aerosol Industry Co. A building is acquired in Yodogawa-ku, Osaka City, and the head office of KYOWA KOGYO is relocated there.
April 2004 Capital and business tie-up concluded with Kyowa Kogyo and Air Water Inc.
2006 ISO 14001 certification (Gifu Plant) and ISO 9001 certification (Ibaraki Plant).
July 2007: Merged with KYOWA KOGYO Co.
September 2011 Seisho Co., Ltd. became a subsidiary.
October, 2013 Established Zhuolong (Shanghai) Trading Co.
July 2015: Took over Mon Shizen Kagaku Kenkyusho Co.
July, 2016: Merged with Seisho Co.
December, 2008 Constructed and started operation of a second factory mainly for cosmetics manufacturing in Ibaraki Plant.

CASE1] Rescue Cosmetics
The prolonged coronary disaster has forced us to change our living environment and lifestyles, and various skin problems are appearing one after another. In particular, the continuous friction and dryness of the skin caused by wearing masks for long periods of time has triggered an increase in skin problems such as rough skin and sagging skin. In order to improve such mask life, Air Water Realize proposes basic cosmetics to rescue skin problems. This time, we would like to propose cosmetics containing CICA (Cicada extract), which has become popular this year among such rescue cosmetics.
CASE2] Functional Cosmetics
Among cosmetics, a product can be considered a functional cosmetic if it has been evaluated in accordance with evaluation guidelines (Guidelines for Cosmetics Functional Evaluation Method published in December 2006) and its effectiveness has been confirmed. These include "anti-wrinkle products" and "quasi-drug whitening products."
CASE3] Scalp Care
